Let me see if I get this right..

.. you want to put the organisation that is responsible for enabling about 99% of the malware and ransomware in charge of "protecting" MacOS?

Am I the only one who spots a tiny problem here? I mean, it's creative and at some level even funny in a sarcastic kind of way, but seriously?

No word on piggybacking snoop code or how an update will brick your fleet, we’ll just have to assume those standard Microsoft features are pervasive and integrated in all software.

If I may interject into the matters of MS and Apple bashing, might I make comment that this is actually an incredibly effective tool and complements the existing Defender for Endpoint ecology perfectly?

Disabling the local firewall and antivirus would be one of the first steps that an attacker would attempt when gaining a foothold inside a network, and locking that down to being beyond the capabilities of 99%+ of potential adverseries to bypass, and the ability to set alerts on these events, provides great value to Blue Teamers.

Just under the comment box here is an article saying "Warning: Apple 'could very easily' cripple Jamf'."

They could also very easily do the same to Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

And given that they will be seeing other people making money from third party solutions they could easily bake into the operating system, they probably will. (Don't tell me Microsoft haven't done the same, just think about CleanSweep, third party defrag tools, lockdown tools... the list goes on and on)
