    Lenovo Software Quality - Bah

It doesn't matter who they get with, as it doesn't address their root problems of low software quality.

Specifically, I had bought a Yoga 710-14ISK, and their latest BIOS upgrade (required to fix some major CVEs) had a screen reading "Phoenix Core Technologies EVALUATION USE ONLY". That BIOS upgrade required you to be running Windows 8 or Windows 10 to install it. (Perhaps one could futz around with WinPE and make it work ... or perhaps not.)
