    I'm distressed to see that the USA is clearly not sending its brightest and best to represent it in this new forum. Doesn't augur well for their success in containing China.

      I'm not sure where your 'best and brightest' comment is coming from. Gina Raimundo graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, went to Oxford as a Rhodes scholar, and received her JD from Yale. She served as Treasurer and then Governor of Rhode Island. She also had a successful career in business.

      Of course she is a woman.

        It's coming, as I thought I made clear, from the quality of analysis on display in TFA. "If we had better communication, we wouldn't have poor communication" is an insight worthy of a $10,000 consultant, not a secretary of commerce.
