    To remove yourself from the database of images you have to submit a photo of yourself?

        The actual quote from Clearview is "block its facial recognition software from finding matches for their face", which it quite different and even worse!

        Not only do you have to submit a good and clear photo of yourself to "opt out", you cannot opt out of the database itself, only opt out of the search results.

        A real opt-out would search their database and remove all the matches!

    Essentially this ought to be a tax deductible donation that you can reclaim. You may think that you are only posting on social media to your friends, but all these companies are making billions from your "donations" and paying no taxes because technically you made a donation to the billionaires running all these companies.
