    .. they have possibly technically caught up with where Huawei was two years ago.

      Don't be silly. Rolling out a product is the easy part of the game. Making a product WORK, now that is where the money (maintenance contract, TAC support, etc.) is going to be made.

      I remember a few years back seeing a US patent application from Microsoft which effectively allowed for the charging of the movement and processing of data within a distributed computer aka cloud computer platform:

      Memory to CPU chargeable

      CPU time chargeable

      Cpu to memory chargeable

      memory occupancy chargeable

      Disk I/O chargeable

      Disk usage chargeable

      etc.
