      I figure it as the Ukrainians working up the muscle to neutralize some of the "fifth column" in light of the past, current and likely future conflict.

      Seems almost a forgotten term, doesn't it? Yet as recent history shows - e.g. the last two years - there are always those working against society, for wildly different reasons perhaps.

      Anyway, a recent discussion included the phrase bemoaning "the loss of the consensus reality". Like who the enemies are. Love the virus, the virus is our friend! Yoicks!
