Are the chances of that being a reality any better than that of all of the nations on the planet working in unison to save humanity from the ravages of man-made climate change?

That is not to say that such is not a very valid and practical option by way of a build methodology for a massive distributed quantum computer system but ensuring units work in quantum communication unison in support and reinforcement of mutually beneficial agreed goals surely will have similar difficulties to the above aforementioned nations/climate change dilemma.

Greater success may be easier easily delivered though if an IT giant is able to/responsible and accountable for providing all necessarily superior quantum computing units although of course then will a vast see of parasites conspire for a piece of the monopoly position prosecution and persecution pie with all manner of strange tales unfurled and raised as red flags in much the same way as was/is done in the case of China and Huawei regarding earlier advancing generations of communication.... 1G/2G/3G/4G/5G/6G etc etc.

And all of that is relative to and dependent upon the fact that quantum computing/communications control units are not ultimately of a hardware base but rather more a morph and a clone of an advanced software program/Almighty AI Project.
