    For the life of me, I don't know how those IDE tools survive with their outrageous prices compared to the likes of Netbeans. I've even worked with most of them, and found them either lacking or "just different" than Netbeans. Of course if you aren't doing Java code, then those IDEs become more attractive, but for me, Netbeans is more than adequate.

    I'd honestly rather NOT use the likes of Jetbrains and attain any "finger memory" for its IDE when I will NEVER be willing to spend that kind of money for my own use.

    Smalltalk...

    "I can debug production directly from my IDE."

    In Smalltalk, you can do that and dynamically apply a code change to fix the issue.
