    Potential

    The goals seem laudable but, as the article points out, without more and bigger players this will probably turn into just another working group.

    Digital identity is a political landmine in the US. Fin-tech operating across borders is not something that China wants. Maybe there's some hope for bringing in some European countries. But I'm not holding my breath.
