    New Zealand's bad news might be our good news?

    We just had a hurricane swing through, knocking the power out everywhere and now that businesses, schools, and local government offices are getting back online I was expecting to see a normal steep increase in malware deliveries but it's been strange, the daily infection email attempts are just normal - no increase at all. In the past we've always seen a ton of malware and phishing emails delivered after we get hard weather in the USA. I wonder if they are busy working on New Zealand instead of the US?

    I can't access my accounts via the Android banking app and my bank's website has a message asking for patience, so it is clearly ongoing.

    I am glad I don't work for the bank's online team, they must be do it tough right now.
