    Turisas did it better

For those who prefer their music a bit heavier but still like the song, Finnish folk metal band Turisas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdkBs0VCSX0&ab_channel=CenturyMediaRecords

Or, at the other extreme, there's the West Cork Ukulele Orchestra cover.

    I have a button/badge from the '70s ...

    ... that states "Disco sucks!".

I have another one from the '80s that says "Disco STILL sucks!".

Perhaps it's time for a revival.

No, I'm fairly certain it was a god damn rock & roll thing. The kind of stuff that don't save souls.

Actually I think it was a White Person thing, since only a minority of the records destroyed at the rally were disco, but all of them were by blacks.

Yeah. Black groups, like Abba and the Bee Gees no doubt.

I still have that badge along with a collection of bike badges.

Also a 'Piss on disco' badge that I think came from Iron Horse magazine.

      I couldn't Boney M's music in the 70s and still can't.

Recently downloaded a Hu album though, pretty good.

So, Twitter was actually doing its job

But of course, why let facts get in the way of a good bit of political grandstanding ?

Oh, by the way, Rasputin on Twitter : big no no, but Rasputin on Youtube : fine ?

Rasputin on Youtube : fine ?

Maybe youtube is paying some of its advertising royalties to the copyright holder?

    Or maybe second hand aliens?

I hope somebody reboots the classic 'The Invaders' series from 1967/8.

Instead of being able to identify them by malformed pinkies, it could be the digitus medius manus ;) two left hands or something else.

But who would play David Vincent? Answers on a postcard please.

What are you going on about? Did I miss the alien connections in a story about Indian politicians and Twitter having a bit of a spat?

    To all the haters...

I'll have you know... Disco is fabulous. Still. And it's exceptionally popular on Spotify.

I'm reliving my yoof in Cuban heels, wide-collared shirts and flares. Oh god yes... Flares.

While Ms. Ross and Earth, Wind and Fire both made a few bob off the disco craze, they are hardly best known for that cul-de-sac in their careers.

Next I suppose you're going to claim Blondie was a disco act.
