If he wanted to evade the paparazzi
Maybe he shouldn't be the only person in the world to surf in a hoodie
Uncanny Valley-dwelling Facebook founderbot Mark Zuckerberg has revealed pictures of a new surfboard he has had custom-made, resplendent with a cartoon picture of him surfing while wearing too much sunscreen. The image on the board, which may be the result of the Facebook CEO testing some experimental new self-deprecation …
I genuinely sympathise with your friends who have skin cancer. It's no joke. If Suckerbergs stunt had been a real attempt to encourage followers (Facebook sheep) to wear suncream then I would be all for it. Sadly he says "it wasn't thought through". Is he implying that he was wrong to wear suncream? If so then expect an army of Facebook droids to die of a preventable disease.
With great power comes great responsibility...
Too much salad, I mean sun cream? Whenever I feel lazy and go out without it I remember a bloke down my local with a literal hole in his head (he likes to whip his sunbhat off to show it around) resulting from skin cancer prob due to time in the forces spent in various sunny locales.
What came to my mind when I saw that photo of him surfing was Lt. Commander Data from Star Trek TNG.

"Gene Roddenberry told Brent Spiner that over the course of the series, Data was to become "more and more like a human until the end of the show, when he would be very close, but still not quite there."
Is Zuckerberg following a similar path?
I know it's Zuck and all and I risk wandering into pearl clutcher territory here... but should we really be making fun of people for "too much" sunscreen? There is no such thing.
It's also obviously mineral sunscreen, which is way better for you but leaves this pallor, so we probably shouldn't be trying to stigmatize it...
