      The current one hasn't finished yet - voluntary done, now moving to invol stage because not enough good people 'took one for the team'.

    Lets see.

    IBM PHBs haven't learnt a damned thing. The same old, tired approach is still being flogged to death, and worse still its being adopted in the new company.

    I still don't get the "Oh its in the cloud, we don't need infrastructure services" shit PHBs believe in. Its just the same thing run on someone else's hardware. The day-to-day admin drudgery is still there. Users still screw up systems. Systems still have problems that need to be resolved. Some of this can be mitigated IF your apps are cloud native - but lets face it, a hell of a lot of them aren't.
