back to article Yep, the usual suspects are sitting down to feast: Dominant vendors get a fat slice of CIA cloud pie and so do IBM and Oracle

AWS, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, and IBM can celebrate Thanksgiving safe in the knowledge they have won a place on the US Central Intelligence Agency’s lucrative Commercial Cloud Enterprise contract. Thought to be worth tens of billions of US dollars, the contract is set to see the companies compete for business with the CIA …

Do sociopaths have friends and enemies?

I thought they only see opportunity, and the means to an end

        sociopaths have friends?

        Sociopaths don't have friends.

        (Maybe acqaintances but no friends.)

    Government links

Is there any way this article could be moved a bit further away from some of the ones which bang on about the close links between Chinese companies and their government? It's a little awkward having them so close by.

And seventeen US intelligence agencies? Really? I never thought I would say this, but I had never realised how much intelligence there was in the US government!

"how much intelligence there was in the US government". That's a good question.

I was also struck by "the CIA and the 16 other intelligence community agencies."

That's a lot of secret policemen. Erich Honecker would have loved that.

There is nothing of intelligence that these people do

The unintelligent and insecurity services do just that, make stupid selfish decisions which lead to insecurities and instability. IT’S WHAT THEY DO

The 45 minute dossier was a “piece of intelligence”

Others may argue it was a crock of shit

Some may even dare to shout “LIES!”

I heard there will be a Trump vaccine available by early January. Of course not everyone who can be immunised will want to be, but we should reach jerk immunity by summer.

Unfortunately once someone is infected by Trump it seems there is no cure, and the only immunity they have is to facts!

    I thought...

...the point of a source selection was to foster competition, which would force vendors to offer a compelling product at a competitive price. Use open or standards-based requirements to avoid vendor lock-in, and rinse/repeat every few years.

If everyone wins, it's not a competition. You get a 'national team' like NASA's National Space Alliance. That worked well <snort>

These sociopathic sycophants are practically falling over themselves to get into bed with the military industrial complex. If you thought IBM collaborating with the Nazis ended badly, wait until this mountain of cunts band together
