    Tik tok vs Sing Sing

Voters were supposed to vote Trump in unifying hatred of the Chinese whipped up my maestro hate merchant Trump and his troop of Fox News show clowns. Now he's lost the election, the trade war makes no sense, the China-hate is pointless, and his focus will be domestic hate targets.

Mitch McConnells wife, Elaine Chao, is Chinese, so you can't really make them the domestic hate figure. He can't scream "the Chinese conspired with Democrats, kill them all" when his primary enabler is married to a Chinese woman who'll give him an earful.

TikTok and the courts should probably just postpone decisions till he's gone.

Plus his followers seem to be sock puppets, you might notice the "army" Trump Jr said he had 300,000 signed up, yet they failed to materialize. They're not real people. Sock puppets cannot form militias outside of twitter. St Petersberg trolls cannot all fly in the way they fly into Twitter storms. Eric Trump seems to be using automated tweet software, he's not even phoning it in, his "vote" tweet was set to appear on the wrong Tuesday!

e.g. Steve Bannon got caught running a bunch of propaganda sock puppets:

    https://gizmodo.com/steve-bannon-caught-running-a-network-of-misinformation-1845633004

Dean Brown, Trump Republican candidate, running a fake "as a gay black man" twitter account. He will be running a lot more fake accounts, not just the single fake black sock puppet account:

    https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/republican-dean-browning-gay/

Facebook took down 10 fake networks of sock puppet accounts from Turning Point USA:

    https://www.businessinsider.com/facebook-removes-fake-accounts-linked-to-turning-point-usa-2020-10

Billionaires pay Turning Point to deceive their millions of followers into voting for Trump. "Ha ha" think the billionaires, "we are so clever to fool these suckers with disingenuous lies". But Turning Point's followers are not real, they're Facebook sock puppet accounts, the suckers here were the people paying Turning Point for sockpuppet likes.

    Sock Puppets for Trump!

It's a sad joke, we're at the "denial" state now, Trump is in denial about his election loss, we'll get to the "bargaining" state later when he's selling out his coup backers to prosecutors in exchange for immunity. When you're chatting to Trump about your coup plans, best to take recordings of the conversation, and offer them to prosecutors and do your own immunity deal. That goes double for you Pompeo.

No time for TikTok when you're facing Sing Sing.

"Elaine Chao was born in Taipei, Taiwan on March 26, 1953 and immigrated to the United States when she was eight years old.[5] She is the eldest of six daughters of Ruth Mulan Chu Chao, a historian, and James S.C. Chao, who began his career as a merchant mariner and in 1964 founded a shipping company in New York City. "

Daughter of Ruth Mulan Chia Chao? Where was her mother from:

"Chu Mulan (or Mulan Chu) was born on March 19, 1930 in Anhui, China, daughter of the Honorable Vei Ching Chu (朱維謙; Zhū Wéiqiān) and Hui Ying Tien Chu (朱田慧英; Zhū Tián Huìyīng).[4] She was named for the Chinese folklore heroine, Hua Mulan, the legendary warrior representing qualities of character, courage, and resolve.[4]"

Anhui, China. That's sort of sweet, her mother is named after Mulan. I'm sure her mother looks down on her with pride.

        Remember this?

        https://www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/fox-news-apologizes-graphic-about-3-mexican-countries-n989526

"Fox News issued an apology on Sunday for an on-screen graphic that mistakenly indicated President Donald Trump was reducing aid to "three Mexican countries.""

Do you think Fox News can't tell the difference between countries Mexico and Mexico-2 and Mexico-3? Nah they just want to stir up hate for a group and label that group Mexican.

So if you wanted to stir up hate against a generic Asian group and label them Chinese would Elaine be shot by an AR15 or not? Tell me Fox News producers, does Elaine count as Chinese enough to cross state lines and shoot her with an AR15 as a means to keep Trump in power? I'm asking for a concerned Senator.

Hey! Don't send that fat orange wanker my way! Sing SIng is a New York State prison that has been renamed "The Ossining Correctional Facility"... After the village of SIng Sing voted to change their name to avoid the connection to Sing Sing prison.

Your mention of this prison has merit though. The Don can pardon himself ( I didn't think we had kings in this country ) for federal crimes but he can't do anything about the tax fraud cases that New York state has waiting for him. I wonder if he still gets secret service protection if he's in jail?

          So, maybe.

His most watertight method would be the abdicate before the inauguration and have Pence pardon him.

Some have talked about the idea he'll give himself a presidential pardon before leaving. However they said the issue with that would be it would prove he's guilty of something. The other option he'd have is to resign so Pence becomes President for a very short while and then he pardons Trump. But again, without any conviction of guilt, he'd be essentially showing that he is guilty of something.

          Two things.

          Himself?

No. But he could resign before January and Pence could pardon him.

          Pre-pardons.

Yes. Ford pardoned Nixon for any and all crimes he may have committed - even though Nixon was never prosecuted or tried, much less convicted.

Of course this only applies to Federal crimes. Pence couldn't (pre-)Pardon him for convictions brought at a State level.

And as Trump has been doing business and filing tax returns in New York for decades, they have plenty of things to get him on that the statute of limitations has not expired on. He's comparatively a small fry when measured against the biggest real estate developers in NYC, and there is enough crookedness in that game that prosecutors never had much reason to do much investigation of Trump. But that certainly changed in the last few years, though judges will rarely sentence someone in their mid 70s to jail and the optics of doing so with an ex-president make that very unlikely - his children are the ones who should be worrying about NY/NYC investigations into Trump Org.

It's not just the rooms. Every golfing President has availed themselves of the (three, 18-hole Championship-grade) golf courses at Andrews AFB, because they're pre-secure and a short chopper ride from the White House. Trump of course wants to play at his own golf course, which is not on a military base, which the Secret Service had to built out a security plan for and outfit with appropriate surveillance and security and then rent golf carts to follow him around...

That's when he doesn't get the itch for some Florida sun and take AF1 for a jaunt down to Mar-A-Lago at a cost to the US taxpayer of >$1m each way.

And yes, Trump did very well out of the Secret Service by deciding he wanted to do a lot of work from his NY residence. Which required the Secret Service to rent the neighbouring apartment(s) for their agents to use. This is not uncommon, Secret Service often acquires a property adjacent to the President's private residence since they provide security for life once they leave office. But in this case of course... Trump Org owns the building, so they were renting from him.

Hopefully this will be fixed by the Biden administration by making it so past presidents can't charge SS agents for staying in a property they own. Otherwise Trump will be making money from the government off the SS agents following him around for the rest of his life!

Just goes to show that Trump never really cared about national security anyway. He just saw that as an opportunity for one of his business buddies in the US to make some money. Probably Zuck since he was probably expecting him to help win the election again.

Just like he was reportedly furious when US telco's started to announce they would be replacing Huawei kit with Nokia and other non US hardware. The whole Huawei thing had little to do with national security and everything to do with US business interests. Of course the funniest thing about the whole thing was when Trump suggested that telcos could replace Huawei with Apple kit. Seemingly unaware that Apple don't actually manufacture any such thing.

I feel sorry for anyone who works at TikTok who might be impacted by his actions (and this isn’t a comment on the merits of TikTok, which I file under ‘Social Media’ and therefore probably not good overall).

Trumps other failing, of course, is that he’s a colossally stupid f*cknuckle and therefore not actually very good at enriching himself. He’s quite good at appearing rich, but I reckon that he must also be terrified of the loan-sharks who are coming his way (probably with vials of novichok and armfuls of kompromat). Like Captain Hook, who feared alarm-clocks, Trump fears the Jaws theme-tune. It reminds him that there is a knock on the door coming, and a wide toothed grin.

It’s quite astonishing that he found even one person dim enough to vote for him, let alone nearly half the electorate.

Singling them out because of their origins is nothing more than a trade-war policy. Definitely not a Trump fan here, though there are times to take a hard line at state level. Their ongoing ethnic cleansing / re-education efforts for example. As long as we can still buy cheap manufactured goods off them we (at least at government level) don't really make a stand, do we? Taking a hard line on some unimportant social media outlet is not really challenging the state, is it?

We don't take a hard line regarding the annexation of Tibet post WWII either. If that's any different to the annexation of American Indian territory just because that happened 100+ years ago rather than 50+ years, I'll leave to your interpretation. Or any of the countless lines on maps that European nation states used to argue over incessantly (and in some cases still do).

When was the last time anyone rolled out a one-world government proposal; ($deity) forbid that it is only one planet, and we are one species that rather than evolving continues to crap on each other because of some flags on a map and the lack of "enough" to go around.
