      I can’t imagine that would have dented their profits.

      Business expenditures are accounted for before taxes so at worst they’d have paid less tax.

        Unless your tax rate is 100%, I'm afraid increased business expenditures will dent profits.

        However, I like your thought process. This might be a good argument for that new 64 core threadripper workstation you need for running office applications and surfing the web for pron business intelligence. Maybe even throw in a 44 inch 4K monitor to make watching the porn the charts easier to read. Assuming, of course, that the beancounters are intellectually challenged.
