Of course a simple contactless transaction of 1 cent would serve the same purpose and be a lot simpler and the customers would have to share a lot less personal information.

Surprised they do not charge you S$100 in advance for disposal of the used face mask, or send a robotic dog round to check that your personal details are correct.

Perhaps it's our future, too, where any action against a government robotic dog (or refusal to let one into your home) will have a pack of them arrive within a couple of minutes.
