Sounds like a tactic to deflect lack of delivery of their product

I think its just a tactic to stall their buyers from complaining about lack of the said product being given.

    Much like the Vega+

    "Colombian pharmaceuticals executive Pablo Escobar"

I'm not sure it's fair to call Escobar a "pharmaceuticals executive".

After all, he was providing a popular recreational drug, not jacking up the price of lifesaving medication. No need to tar him with the same brush as Shkreli et al.

I'm glad it's not just me that sees "Colombian" and "pharmaceuticals" and thinks "Colombian Marching Powder" especially when the name "Escobar" features. I suppose it's a sign of the times that this is being pursued via the courts rather than the concrete overshoes route.

I was planning to make exactly this point, though I would add that he also wouldn't want to be tarred with the same brush as the Sacklers. He wasn't employing people to go out there are try to get doctors to up the dose of his products.

It's an interesting thought - given the number of people now dying of opioid overdoses, and the number of people killed in the course of Mr. Escobar's accountancy and marketing operations, he might come out looking a lot better than an "ethical" pharma owner.

      Re: I can't believe

Well there seem to be at least four commentards who are outraged that the good name of Escobar is being sullied.

Not sure anyone would want to get on the wrong side of someone with the title "former head of assasinations" in the "about" section - good luck to the fellow with the YT passwords with that......
