New display technologies

OLED was a big step forward and has stimulated development of other technologies.

Samsung's self emitting quantum dot displays are coming along so we will see what happens.

Micro led will be mainstream before they are able to do that. So it will never happen. Self emitting quantum dot, with what it was supposed to be, is a dead end. They will probably just name the micro led displays quantum dot.
