For those unaware, Macquarie is a sharp-but-fair player, unusually intelligent, typically at the pointy-end of the financial markets in terms of smart trading/investing.
For example, if an investment bank outbids Macquarie, you know they overpaid. You can think of them like a less hysterical Goldman Sachs.
Their infrastructure group(s) in particular have been serious & profitable global players for quite a while now.
