Wow who didn't see that one coming?

Next: Californians buy more European and Asian cars over 3pmg USofA Trumpmobiles....why do I think of Homer Simpson when I think of Trumps bright ideas?

I wonder if nobody ever told Trump "never give a customer reason to review the market" or whether he didn't listen because that's what he's doing to customers of USA Inc.

I've been running that on my Lenovo X220 for the past two months or so and it's the canine's nads.

    No Googlebloat?

No dataslurp.. No forced agendas.. No bloat... Apps that actually adhere to user settings/preferences?

Surely for any sane individual this is a balls-out win?

My thoughts exactly!! When I heard they were going to be completely Google-less open-source Android I was immediately interested in the Mate 30s.

    Since money is being spent...

Trade some cameras for a headphone jack, microSD, and more LTE bands. Top it off with third party OS support and I'll buy them. The base Mate 30 is pretty close but the higher-end ones actually lose lots of features.

The phones do support memory cards (and dual simms)

        SIMULTANEOUSLY?

Plus, what about user-replacable batteries while you're at it? That's always the first thing to wear down for me.

They support nano memory cards, which are quite a bit down on capacity compared to microSD. It might mean swapping cards while traveling.

Re: Since money is being spent...

I have a 256gb card in my mate 20x. Plus the 128gb internal memory. That's plenty for me travelling or otherwise.

Genuine question - how much storage do you need in a phone?

Agree using micro sd would be better, but card was like $5 more expensive so it wasn't a big deal to me.

Given the amount of audio and video collections that can be out there, I peg it as "You can never have too much."

Yeah the lack of headphone jack is baffling in the pro phones!

Wanna keep the cameras though - they are awesome.
