back to article Samsung goes Marie Kondo on its public cloud outfit: Does this bring me Joyent? Nope. Then in the bin it goes

Samsung has killed off its Joyent public cloud – its unsuccessful answer to Amazon and Google's public cloud services – almost three years to the day after it acquired the biz. Yeah...

I've been using node for ages and I never even knew that Joyent had a public cloud product. I can't believe they failed to use that product to advertise their paid products. That’s likely because your an architect.

Our architects all have similar problems.

    Joyent no joy

Companies are known by what they do. Joyent had to be relieved of node.js because they were stifling it due to neglect. Joyent viciously attacked the 2nd or 3rd most prolific contributor to node because they were employed by a competitor, Strongloop. Joyent makes people weep.

I am shocked that Samsung bought a software company and then didn't know what to do with it.
