First glance and I thought you'd put Jimmy Saville as your lead photo. I know the last Windows release was a disgrace but that is too much!!
The Redmond gang enjoyed a busy week, emitting a new build, shovelling new toys into old apps and (temporarily) making insiders look elsewhere for kitten videos. Your Phone gets MMS while Windows Insiders continue dreaming of 19H2 While speculation continued to swirl over what its upcoming "modern" OS might or might not be, …
And, if you are running BattleEye, it seems the new build does not like it and will not install until it is removed (had to remove it from the wife's system (son used to use it for gaming)). Then there was the driver screw up with my Killer AC Wireless driver (had to uninstall and reinstall the same damn driver). My son's desktop was still churning through the last little bits of the update for an additional hour after he logged into the system. Two identical laptops took forever (both were Intels), yet all the rest were done within a couple hours (most are AMD based).
Probably did not help with the updates when my WSUS server was also restarting from the updates it had.
"Now then...I'm running the London Marathon. I hope no body dies, if they do, bagsy I take them to the mortuary".
Stuart and Richard explain this on Richard's podcast. He said it was a well known joke going around about him as you couldn't possibly know if it was true or not.
Its also suggested he was famously litigious which is why people think nothing was ever done about him. Ironically, I suspect the BBC now wishes they'd taken action over all the rumours. Surely if it's proven high level managers knew, then they should also face charges.
Excel OCR feels like everything Microsoft put out at the moment; a decent idea that's not finished. I tried it with some tables in a printed pdf doc and it brought in most of the numbers, but offset from each other and looking nothing like the original table, as if I'd imported a text file with the wrong delimiter. Fixing the formatting would have taken longer than just manually typing out the table.
