Occulus and Valve - thoughts?

So Both companies officially announced their new VR headsets yesterday.

Facebook/Occulus at F8, and Valve dropping the bomb by releasing everything about 5 minutes before the show started.

No tech news story here?

What are your thoughts on the new HW?
