    Read the 10-K - Surprises await!

    No comment on the fact that they have never made a dime and most of their customer use the free version, but I'll leave you with these lovely tidbits from the latest Box 10-K:

    "Even with the disaster recovery arrangements, we have never performed a full live failover of our services and, in an actual disaster, we could learn our recovery arrangements are not sufficient to address all possible scenarios and our service could be interrupted for a longer period than expected. For example, in February 2018, we experienced a service outage when one of our data centers lost power and the back-up power generators failed to function properly."

    And this...

    "In particular, as part of our hybrid cloud infrastructure strategy, we intend to migrate our primary data centers in fiscal year 2020 to significantly lower cost regions in order to continue to optimize infrastructure efficiency and to support the growth in our paying customers. "
