Good, they stole Micron's technology and then got the corrupt Chinese courts to ban Micron. There need to be tough sanctions on China to stop China from doing things like this. Free trade is only free is both sides are playing by the rules.

National Security and "Sanctions". Both of those.
The previous US governments were using both sparingly to meet particular political goals. They were also a measure of last resort when everything else failed.
The current administration is clearly using both as a day-to-day trade positioning tool as well as for open economic warfare against anyone seen as even remotely non-compliant. It is exactly that "non-compliant", not adversarial - with Russia, China and the NATO members of Canada, Germany and Turkey in the same bucket. It is not even comply or else. It is comply. No else.
