RIT has competitions where they get a roomful of computers, routers etc. carefully isolated from the outside network. Competitors have 3 hours to set up a "private" corporate network and "public" facing website, email, database etc. Then the professional hackers from one if the antivirus companies would attack. Lots of bad stuff would fly through the network and students would have to defend or diagnose what was happening.
