    The article indicates accelerated growth. How much more can the acceleration grow? Could this acceleration become exponential? I'm inclined to think there's an upper limit, but even on the logistics curve the upper limit is starvation and the upper knee of the curve is the suffering that signals the impending doom. Remember, a standard chessboard wouldn't hold but a few handfuls of wheat; but under exponential growth, the chessboard massively buried before the first quarter of it is filled.
