    where software goes to die. Puppet, Nagios et al are chewing up the market for the legacy software. Aside from CA making software harder to install, use or worse, remove, IMHO.

    KKR seems to be into buying firesale companies

    BMC , Cherwell , maybe CA - a bunch of disparate software

    Feels like they are buying the maintenance contracts and squeezing the revenue

    Next step layoffs....
