    Remember that AMD processors are not vulnerable to Meltdown.

    There are microcode/firmware updates from AMD to support IBPB (Indirect Branch Prediction Barrier), which flushes the branch prediction cache on context switches to mitigate Spectre variant #2 (CVE-2017-5715).
