    Interesting that a strategic Cisco acquisition of a significant startup has passed almost unnoticed. I would have expected a little more analysis by El Reg of both the acquisition and the effect on a market that is projected to be worth $6 Billion by 2019.

    Sounds like a series fell through and Viptela needed cash ASAP to accept an offer at that kind of valuation.

      Yes, I guess that a huge addressable market together with very good technology would indicate something wrong with the execution.
