Vodafone has admitted that the commercial launch of its Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) network in Ireland and the Netherlands has been delayed by a whole season.     Bit late

    The delay might make it difficult for them to compete with KPN's LoRa network which went live last year with nationwide coverage:

    A friend with a networking company has been looking at that and apparently it's both technically and financially attractive for applications with very low data volumes and a constrained power budget. It'll be interesting to see how the market develops.
