    Instapaper is useful for reading websites offline on kindle (or similar devices). For example, news from IT world during lengthy commute. Hint, hint.

      ...by making a permanent copy of copyright material on a 3rd party host, as opposed to the temporary local copy your browser normally makes. And who knows who else might have access to that copy. It sounds like it might be on dodgy ground in copyright terms in many jurisdictions.
