    One of the characteristics of a state attack is that they tend to be much, much more careful about covering their tracks and making sure that the victims don't "know". Which makes it hard to tell FUD from truth.

    This highlights the real crisis in the Bitcoin community

    The developers and technicians in Bitcoin no longer can afford to purchase it. They are watching us large institutional players acquire and hold the coin that they covet, but do not have the disposable income to retain. And so, inevitably, a few of them have realized that the best way to ensure that they can spend their bonus money this year on the coin that they work so hard to develop, is 2 spread fear uncertainty and doubt.

    As we saw not too long ago it can be effectively taken out of action by a bored guy with a couple of hundred dollars.

    If "state sponsored attackers" wanted to bring it down it would be gone by now, but the community is so hilariously awful that they don't need any help in wrecking it from governments.
