    ...the company that had a competitive differentiator a *long* time ago is living on borrowed time.

    - parallel processing is now availble to all and sundry

    - public cloud as a route to market is hardly new

    - how will playing nice in the fast-paced, crowded Hadoop market lead to riches?

    - more consultancy won't save the lack of innovative tech

    Apart from the eponymous DBMS which came to market in the 1980's, when did Teradata *really* last innovate?

    Last one out, turn off the lights...
