    Win 7 to Win 10

    Ok i could be wrong here....

    If you have win 7 ultimate dodgy copy it will upgrade to a free win 10 pro activated?

      Probably yes, Redmond is desparate to "prove" that W10 is a success. But why on earth would you want to do that?

    Actually tried that and it did!

    Then formatted the drive, just wanted to give it a try and the multiple desktops work a treat, not the same as Linux and I just kept making more and more, don't know if there’s a limit.

    I think on another thread I've said before that I've rolled it back or clean installed on five machines because it didn't work properly or ran slow.

    Two people I know love and both use a Windows phone, it also runs well on their machines.

    Just a thought thats all..

    How odd seems a odd thing to do then we could al in theory upgrade to win 10 pro for free....

    Asking as new laptop came with win 10 home...
