    Well, duh!!

    Just like 3DTV sales "skyrocketed." (Then most people got over it, and 3D was no longer "must have.")

    I'm sick of these twats pronouncing the bleeding obvious - Gartner, I'm looking at you as well!!

    [I want VR to succeed - this time. I was around in in the 80's, 90's... where it looked like 3D and VR were going to make it big. They didn't then, but here's hoping....]

      If world + dog concluded that being forced to wear cheap sunglasses to watch TV wasn't worth the hassle, I'm pretty sure that strapping a VR rig on their head will get old equally fast.

        A cheap ass 1388x768 laptop screen is overkill for most of the content of Netflix, Youtube, Steam...

    Pretty sure that HTC have nothing to do with the Oculus, given that they have developed the HTC Vive which is one of it's main competitors....
