There is no obligation to disclose terms just because they are publicly traded. The SEC requires filings only in certain cases, and presumably they have filed or will file anything required at the time it is required. Beyond that they can play this close to the vest if they want.

Should make anyone very leery about buying an Android phone through AT&T, as they could have added this software to it, unless it is a pure Android model like a Nexus.

The 3 letter agencies use all the other features, but we only use some of them.

AT&T installed carrier iq on my new LG K10 ( SEVERAL SECURITY COMPANIES CONFIRMED THIS TO BE RUNNING AND AS CARRIER IQ ) AND ITS RUNNING 100% OF THE TIME USING MEMORY AND BATTERY....I DID NOT CONSENT TO THIS AND MY DIAGNOSTICS LOG IS TURNED OFF!!......SO THERE ARE 195 APPS INSTALLED AND RUNNING ON MY PHONE AND I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THEM IN ANY WAY!!!  THEY NEVER INFORMED ME OF THEIR ACTIONS MUCH LESS ASKED ME FOR ANY PERMISSIONS  WHEN THEY SOLD ME MY PHONE...FURTHERMORE ANY SETTINGS OR PERMISSIONS I DO HAVE ON THIS PHONE ARE ABSOLUTELY USELESS!! I TURN MY LOCATION SETTING OFF IN PERMISSIONS FOR EXAMPLE AND THEY DO NOT HONOR THAT...NOW THEY ARE ON AND GREYED OUT .....THEY MONITOR MY PHONE  DOWN TO EVERY KEYSTROKE AND EVEN INTERFERE WITH MY SERVICE IF I TRY BROWSING INFORMATION CONCERNING THE PROBLEMS I WAS HAVING! EVERY SINGLE THING I DO, GO AND SAY IS BEING LOGGED AND SENT TO A DESTINATION.....I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I CAN SEE AND READ THE LOGS IN MY PHONES SYSTEM AND THE APPS COLLECTING THE DATA IN MY PHONE ..THIS IS NOT RIGHT TO DO TO ANYONE, AND THERE IS NOTHING RANDOM OR ANONYMOUS ABOUT ANYTHING THEY ARE COLLECTING FROM MY PHONE!!

I KINDLY CALLED THEM TO DISCUSS THE SITUATION AND THEY GAVE ME A SMART ASS TECH WHO LAUGHED AT ME AND DENIED EVERYTHING, AS I TOLD HIM I HAVE PROOF OF IT!!  THE TRACKING, PICTURES AND RECORDING AND YES....KEYLOGGING..... CAN NOT BE TURNED OFF  AND NOW THEY SLOW DOWN, FREEZE OR SHUTDOWN SERVICE TO MY PHONE IF I ATTEMPT TO GATHER FURTHER KNOWLEDGE OR INFORMATION......THEY SHOULD HAVE PAID ME FOR TAKING THE PHONE INSTEAD OF MY PURCHASING IT FROM THEM! WHY SHOULD I PAY A COMPANY FOR SUCH A DEVICE AND THAT ONLY THEY CONTROL!  I AM SO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW REALIZEING THEY HAVE TOTALLY TAKEN/INVADED ANY PRIVACY AND RIGHTS I HAVE AS AN ADULT OR HUMAN BEING FOR THAT MATTER, ARE THERE NO LAWS OR REGULATIONS IN ORDER THAT PROTECT ME OR MY RIGHTS?  OR EVEN MY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER?  I HAVE DONE NOTHING TO DESERVE THIS......WHAT I SEE THEM MONITORING, RECORDING,  COLLECTING AND SENDING OF MY MOST PERSONAL INFORMATION, WHEREABOUTS, VOICE AND TEXTING COMMUNICATIONS, SNAPPING PICS AND FULL CONTROL OVER MY USAGE OF THE INTERNET, THAT I PAY FOR......IS NOT COLLECTED RANDOMLY OR ANONYMOUSLY IN ORDER TO PROVIDE ME BETTER SERVICE!!!!  THIS IS RIGHT OUT COMMUNISTIC AND EVIL!!.....GOD KNOWS MY BORING AND STAGNATED LIFE DID NOT RAISE ANY RED FLAGS......I AM DEFINATLEY CHANGING  ISP AND THEY CAN HAVE THEIR DAMN PHONE BACK!!!!

AND TO THINK THEY MAKE BILLIONS OFF US EACH YEAR MAKES ME SICK!
