    I put in my address, only to be told that there is plenty of 4G LTE when I know damn well that I only have minimal 3G service where I live.

      It's a combination of T-Mobile and Sprint, so the service may be on a different carrier than your current setup.

    Why does the prospect of Google as an ISP make my skin crawl. I'm sure they're no more evil than any other company and more technically competent than most but, well, it feels wrong.

    Welp, still haven't answered my question

    This SIM is T-Mo only, I believe. I've not read anywhere whether it still supports the full international data network.
