    Many of their citizens don't have clean drinking water, sanitation or adequate housing, but they've all got a Gigabyte of cloud storage. Job done. Treble lassis all round.

      A. It's actually far cheaper to provision 1 GB per person than a year's worth of water or sanitation for that same person.

      B. It is quite possible that when people have access to the government, and vice-versa, that some of these services could be prioritized more efficiently.
