Well, yes, they do ... rather like Vodafone and O2. Did the Vodafone guy conveniently "forget" to mention that bit? (OK, Three and EE were sharing a bit more infrastructure that way, and presumably that'll be phased out now with O2 becoming part of Three, but still...)

Porn is blocked on UK mobile networks by default, and many users shy away from requesting an unblock. So it may be true that Pornhub has a lot of users viewing on mobile devices, but they'll be on Wifi, not 3G/4G.

You can just turn off the block in the user portal without having to talk to a CSR. That's what I did heard

Nope i rang them up and told them off for blocking.

Even wierder was they wanted to confirm i was over 18 and i would need to provide a credit card to prove it.

Increase in traffic != increase in revenue

The difficulty the operators face isn't in getting customers to use more bandwidth, it is with persuading us to cough up any more dosh for it.

My kids will use any number of Gigs of data they're allowed. Youtube has a lot to answer for :-)

Fortunately 3 offer an all you can eat data option at a reasonable price. So guess who's getting the business. Before that the boys were both on T-mobile which had a parent friendly capped usage. I'd much rather not let the kids have unlimited data, but I'm scared of bill shock.

So I have no intention of paying more. The network that can supply with what I need for the best price is going to get the business. Will they use more? YES, will I pay for it? NO

My vodafone contract ends this month, I will be headed over to three.

Not for their coverage, just that I don't have to "worry" about data usage.

also to note is that driving around, every time i go near a town I get near 0 bandwidth with vodafone,

Bleh, or they will offer me a really really good deal :/

1 more year, at least its going to be a cheap year !
