    Panda Antivirus bricking PCs!

    Over 900 of my PCs currently bricked by Panda Antivirus incorrectly removing system files today. If you have Panda, I suggest you take action.

    I can't get hold of anyone at Panda for help.

    Panda Antivirus bricking PCs!

    Panda Security has issued an official advisory concerning the update glitch and has confirmed that a tool to remedy the problem is in the works. So far no ETA has been given on the fix. In the meantime, Panda security has advised customers NOT to reboot their computers, regardless of what may be happening, as it will most likely lead to a bricked PC.

    In addition the company has shared on Twitter that users should not attempt to uninstall Panda anti-virus or else they will be unable to recover any files lost due to the update glitch.
