    Too soon to tell

    I can't imagine how Big Blue is able to make such a claim so soon. I wouldn't expect us to really know anything for at least several months, if at all (not all companies ethically disclose such breaches, even when they do have evidence).

    Your headline is self-contradictory

    And given events that took place in 2014, does not pass the smell test.

    All of the major breaches of 2014 had been ongoing for at least 6 months before disclosure. So it will be July before we can even begin to assert that seasonal breaches fell at the end of 2014.
