    Who said he had a change of heart? He probably still feels that way.

    But... if people want to spend money on it, might as well sell it to them and grab those lucrative support fees.

      If you watch those interviews, Larry wasn't saying the "cloud" was complete gibberish as a technology or a concept. He was saying that the rebranding of the internet or SaaS or hosting as "cloud", as if it were some technological innovation, was gibberish... he was calling it out as marketing spin on things that had existed for a long time... like Salesforce suddenly saying they are cloud or Gmail suddenly becoming cloud... and everyone clamoring for the cloud, even though nothing had changed.
