    Couldnt access for a couple of days although they seem to have tech issues on a pretty regular basis.

    I think of many targets that would be ideal for a DDOS but a genealogy site?! Doesn't seem like something I can imagine many hackers would gain much kudos from their peers for taking out of service!

      @ Amorous Cowherder: ummm... there's huge amounts of identity information to be had on any genealogy site... not everyone listed is dead, ya know? ;)

    Geez! While digging up your ancestors is fun I didn't realize that Ancestry.com and FindaGrave.com were such an addiction of the genealogy set.

    ancestry.co.uk still not up and running, but .com is but still not 100% as can export ged file but wont download file as same says no internet server. plus its stop flamily tree maker from working thats 3 days now with gets sorted soon as

    I can't think of a time that Ancestry has ever compensated subscribers for lost time due to their appalling lack of technical proficiency. They probably qualify 10 people logging in simultaneously as a DDoS.
