    First time I ever see a corporation admit HR failed.

    To listen to some of them, HR never fails, is never wrong and farts perfume. Or that's what they try to make you believe when they screw up your pay.

      Yes, Oracle and IBM recently said something similar when they posted poor results, but they took the tact that it was just the salespeople not hustling as opposed to an organization screw up.

      So true... engineering can screw things up, sales is always blamed, but HR never seems to have any accountability... similar to marketing.
