Ok OpenStack is worth sitting up and noticing, it has huge potential, pre installed frameworks for a lazy mans hosting, wonderful.

From my experience as a web:

    1) transferring files via FTP, both key and path to file location set-up in my install was a pain to get sorted, and probably made worse by the fact that I did this on a windows machine so I had to do a number of installs before I could connect.

    2) Getting a domain name exertion to the install / gear is a pain, there not much help for http://www but your ok if you want a cname but thats not everyone's ideal set-up.

    Windows

I am on Debian, I installed a package and there I was, up and running.

I imagine you need to install OpenSSL, git, and maybe some other shit that I as a dev already had - admittedly not on Windows. I thought there was a download for windows, did it not contain all tools ? Hm, maybe something that they can fix. I mean, on Linux, when you miss git, for example, you do "sudo apt-get install git" or "yum install git" and you're good to go ... it's the same with most software, no "google -> website -> locate download ->wait ->wait ->double click to install ->accept license -> untick unwanted toolbars" Windows bullshit.

    But there you go ...
