    "Shatners talks space, acting"

Wait, Shatner knows something about acting? There are three seasons of Star Trek (TOS) that say otherwise! :)

    Wait one minute...

If talking to Shatner, would it not have been more appropriate to wear a gold shirt?

If I was talking Capt. Kirk I wouldn't want to wear a red shirt, liable to be next on the hit list.

But which orientation will it display the screen??

    1. MrT

      All of them...

... in a random pattern - the only thing to do would be for the applenaut to keep floating around to match the iPad.

        Re: iPads in space?

OK, here is a **serious** answer: after start-up it will display the default orientation, which is portrait. You can then switch to landscape by giving the iPad a sudden rotation (it might take a couple of tries to get the right amount of rotational acceleration to give the desired result). This also works at ground level with 1g: try it with the iPad lying flat on a table.
