Perhaps inspired by the tourists who followed their Satnav and drove into the sea, Google has lugged cameras beneath the waves and added the results to the StreetView service. Google Ocean, as the new service is called, allows users to swim with the fishes. And turtles. And the occasional manta ray, for good measure. …

        It was a staple of my pre-school TV exposure, but they were the repeats, yes. The first GA production I remember seeing on first broadcast was UFO, when I'd come downstairs in the middle of the night (probably 10pm, but at that age, anything past 8pm was the middle of the night!) It's still my favourite TV show, above and beyond DW even!

    So oil barons can find where to next dig? So we can quickly find where to get endangered species?

    Quite cool, but I really cannot see the use of the cost of this one...?

    They are just taking the piss now

    I think this is just willy waggling in Apple's face. "Look at us! You can't even get basic directions and locations correct and we're mapping the underside of the frikkin' sea!"
