Rambus. Ugh.

Nearly everyone likes to condemn Apple's patent suits as an egregious abuse of law, but I have always found Rambus to be the real abuser, along with IBM. A borderline criminal organization, as far as I can tell.

IBM ?! You are making me laugh. When was the last time you saw IBM dragging their competitors in courts allover the planet ? Heck, in case you did not know, Apple has dedicated a top lawyer charged specifically with coordinating its numerous patent lawsuits across courts of justice. Not to mention about suing competitors for making beautiful round corners rectangular devices or for displaying rows of square icons, IBM never did that.

The judge doesn't think 300 BOXES of shredded documents is a problem in this case?? WHEN IS RAMBUS GOING TO DIE, like SCO did?? Now would be a good time for this industry vampire to be put out of it's mysery.

Is this still rumbling on?

Must be 10 years ago or more I was being flabbergasted by Intel and Rambus trying to cripple PCs with RDRAM and then Rambus claiming it had patented important parts of DDR anyway but just forgot to tell anyone.

Do these things never go away?
